In Lucknow, a member of the state women's commission, Priyanka Maurya, received a prank call from unknown individuals requesting her personal information. She has filed a complaint at Krishnanagar police station against these unidentified callers. The complaint stated that the callers pretended to be the personal assistants of the chief minister's principal secretary and the DM of Unnao, seeking her personal details. Priyanka believes that this was an attempt by opposition parties to tarnish her reputation through deceptive means. An investigation has been initiated following her complaint. The incidents occurred on September 9 and September 30 when she received calls from unknown numbers falsely claiming to be officials requesting personal information. Priyanka took the matter seriously and reported it to the police. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Keshav Kumar, confirmed that an FIR has been lodged, and an investigation is underway.
